Geller, Silvis & Associates, Inc (GSA) was formed in Oregon in 1993 with a mission to create, preserve, and enhance affordable housing options, ensuring that communities thrvie and families remain stable.
To implement its mission, GSA has worked with locally based nonprofit organizations, housing authorities and community action agencies across the Pacific Northwest to deliver housing opportunities, along with social and economic supports. Over the years, its principals have trained, advised and mentored real estate development teams to efficiently identify viable affordable housing pathways and engage experts to support development.
Incorporated in 1995, GSA became one of the first woman-founded affordable housing consultancies in the Pacific Northwest. GSA is certified in the State of Oregon as both a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and an Emerging Small Business (ESB).

Pre-Development
Project feasibility analyses, capacity studies, and funding assessments are conducted well in advance of groundbreaking. Long-term community success begins early and involves asking many questions.

Our construction management team collaborates closely with general contractors, municipalities, consultants, and industry experts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Our backgrounds in government and nonprofit sectors provide us with a distinct understanding and perspective on affordable housing financing.
We have extensive experience working with a wide range of funding sources, both public and private, and we maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, foundations, and government agencies. We are committed to being responsible stewards of these resources, treating our funders as genuine partners for the long term.
Preservation
Our expert consulting services focus on preserving existing affordable units, navigating regulatory frameworks, and identifying funding opportunities.
